Chapter 1

IRIS LOU P.O.V. I can tell you the exact moment my life began to fall apart. The moment when everything came tumbling down and I lost all sense of where I fit in the world. The familiar abruptly changed, leaving me with nowhere to go. It all started when a pregnant woman showed up and ruined our wedding... Love turned to hatred, and now I'm out for revenge. Flashback Today is the day! I can finally say, "He's mine." Eliot Hunter Hamilton, the man I've admired for the past five years, is now my boyfriend and, as of today, my husband. I grinned as I examined my full body in the mirror, which was adorned in a gown I had long longed to wear on our wedding day. "My daughter-in-law, you are stunning. I'm sure my son will be taken aback when he sees you approaching the altar." I gazed at Aunt Agnes, the mother of the gentleman I'm about to marry. When she said it, she was walking towards me. "Aunt, of course. Eliot will be surprised to see me in this gown." As I spoke to her, I remarked confidently while smiling. "You are, indeed, my daughter-in-law! Let's hurry because it appears like your future Husband would be bored, and perhaps he is apprehensive because of our time constraints." Aunt Agnes replied with a smile. I was ready, too, and we left the chamber the artist had set aside for me earlier. We walked up the stairs after exiting the car. "Are you prepared?" she inquired. I took a deep breath before smiling and glanced at the Church entrance. My aunt held my hand till we arrived at the Church. I'm already in the middle of the door, slowly opening the door with the music. I walked slowly while Tita was by my side. I just looked at the man standing at the altar, who was happ... Wait, he actually looked... a bit cold, and that surprised me. He was supposed to be happy because it was our day, but I ignored it. He was just nervous probably. I shook the thoughts away and smiled at him. People surround us, the important people in his Life. I'm just like the rest of them who come from unknown families. Everyone here in the Church is smiling at me. I feel the support and love of the family here. When we get to the altar, I still can't see The joy in his eyes. It's as if he's not happy to marry me. I removed from my mind the negatives I was thinking of and just smiled. "Son, take care of her. If I find out that you made her cry, you'll taste a flying plate from me." Still worried and joking, Aunt said to him, and the people here in the Church, including me, laughed, but he was still not reacting. Auntie gave my arm to him. So I took it, and we faced the Priest. "Mr. Eliot Hunter Hamilton, say after me," the Priest said, so he just nodded. "I, Eliot hunter Hamilton take you, Iris Lou Clifford, to be my spouse. I guarantee to be genuine to you in great times and terrible ailments and well-being. I will adore you and respect you all the days of my life," the Priest said. "I, Eliot hunter Hamilton take you, Iris Lou Clifford, to be my spouse. I guarantee to be genuine to you in great times and terrible ailments and well-being. I will adore you and respect you all the days of my life," Eliot said while looking at me. I can't explain the feeling that I felt when he says that. On the other hand, I just stared at him and followed what the priest said. "Iris Lou Clifford takes you Eliot Hunter Hamilton to be my spouse. I guarantee to be genuine to you in great times and terrible ailments and well-being. I will adore you and respect you all the days of my life." I smiled at him. "You have pronounced your assent sometime recently at the church. May the Ruler in his goodness fortify your consent and fill you both with his favors. That God has joined, man must not be isolated. Amen. You may exchange your vows and ring as a sign of your love for your partner," Promise of the Priest. So next, we will give each other a ring. In front of us is the container of the ring; he's the first to take a call. Before he looks at me, I see guilt in his eyes but do not know why. He put the ring on my finger. When he put it on me, I also took a ring and looked straight into his eyes. "I presently articulate you as a husband and wife," the Priest said. He slowly approached me, and when our mouths were almost close. Suddenly the door of the church opened, and everyone looked there, including me. When the door of the church was opened, a lady with long hair and a pearl-like color dress appeared, noticing the lump or more correctly telling her that she was carrying a child. She's looking at the altar where Eliot and I are standing while. I saw the pain that could be seen in her two eyes, and she slowly walked closer to us. If I describe her appearance, I can say that she looks like a barbie doll because of her innocent looks. When she got close to us, she stopped in the middle, not far from us, because it looked like it was only four walks. "H-Hubby, w-what's the meaning of this," she said softly and stuttered as he looked back and forth with the two of us. I saw her tears dripping while holding one hand in her stomach bulged. I looked at Eliot. I just noticed that expression I didn't see in my entire life with him filled with concern. I just moved away from him a little. "Eliot, what is happening right now? Do you know this girl?" I asked him sharply and confusedly. But I didn't get an answer; instead, he just approached the conceiving lady. "B-baby stop crying okay. It's not good with our baby," he worriedly said to the conceiving lady. It was as if a few needles had pierced me, which I witnessed today on our wedding day. "Eliot, can you explain this to me because I'm confused? It's our wedding day today, but this is what's happening!" I yelled at him. "CAN YOU JUST SHUT UP!" He shouted at me with all his might. I jumped a little, and gradually my tears dropped down my cheeks. I noticed the people who were already looking confusedly at us. "Oh my god! We are in the church, don't cuss here, fear God," the Priest panicky said, but I ignored him. "So you're shouting at me just because of that lady!" I shouted at him. "Stop it, Iris! Let's talk later; I'll take her home first." I was hurt when he mentioned my name. He never called me by my name. "Let's go home," he said gently to the lady while he was escorting her, and they slowly walked to leave the church. "Y-your leaving me here?" I said softly, and I knew he heard that. He stopped, but he also continued to walk. "I swear when you step out of this church with that lady, you don't have any reason to come back to me again," I said, and pain could be felt in my voice. He stopped as he heard that and looked at me. "Please, Iris, not now," he said with good eyes. "When you go with that lady, that just means that you prefer her to me," I said while tears slowly poured down my cheeks. I become stunned and feel empty because of what just happened. I couldn't hold my legs anymore and just fell on the floor of the Church. "Oh, My God! Daughter, are you okay?" My aunt approached me, but my mind was blank, and I just cried. "Hush now, Iris, my son, we'll surely pay for this," Aunt Agnes said and hugged me. I just felt that losing him was like losing my whole existence; crying was just what I did, and I didn't even listen to other various comments. Because of too much outcry, I lost consciousness. "Oh gosh, Rex, help us, she collapsed!" I even heard my aunt shout at her husband, uncle Rex, but I couldn't hear anything. My vision started to get blurry, and everything went blank.

Chapter 2

IRIS LOU P.O.V. "If your good son doesn't pay for this, I'll drop you both on the mansion's stairs when we come home," "I love you. Why would I be involved in Eliot's bad behavior? Don't forget that he's our son, not just my son, okay." I overheard Aunt Agnes and Uncle Rex arguing. The white ceiling became visible to me as I gradually opened my eyes. I shifted my focus and noticed my aunt and uncle on a sofa when I turned to face the direction where they were. I sat down and rested my head on the hospital bed's headboard after Auntie shouted, "Oh my God, you're awake!" and hurriedly approached me. I asked haltingly, "Auntie, where's My honey?" She smiled at me and said, "Ahm..... ah..eh, don't think about it first, my daughter. Maybe he will come too." The earlier events in the Church seemed to be a catastrophe—my life's most significant day. Auntie told me to stop crying and wiped the tears from my eyes. I could not stop the tears from falling from my eyes. "What did the doctor say, aunt?" I inquire of my aunt. "Maybe the doctor won't say anything for a while." I exhaled a sigh of relief, thinking, That I was carrying their grandson was something I didn't want them to know. This was meant to be my wedding-related surprise for him, but it appears that I was the one who was surprised. "I can take care of myself, Auntie, so go home. I'll wait for Eliot to come to me." I softly said. "Are you sure?" She asked. I smiled and nodded at her as well as at uncle Rex, who was sitting on the sofa with a scowl on his face and appeared to be lamenting his son's sin. "Iris, if you need anything, just give me a call! You too, Rex! Go home with me. Your son is to blame. "Auntie said while pulling Uncle Rex's ears out. I couldn't help but smile at their immaturity. I realized that returning to my former life was definitely a good idea at this point. I'm not a coward. I took out the dextrose from my hand and experienced no pain. I'm used to it now. I got up and took off the hospital gown when I noticed a paper bag on the couch. When I looked inside, I found a shirt, some pants, and some shoes, so I put them on. I took my phone from the bedside table and placed a call to the personnel I trusted once I was certain that everything was in order. "Dexter, Ready. The private aircraft where heading back to Greece. Wait for me at the airport. I'll be there in a minute." I abruptly cut off the call without waiting for him to start speaking and shouted. I went outside and had a look around. Everyone appeared to be busy and seemed to be unaware of me. I left and proceeded to walk normally. I awaited a taxi after leaving the hospital. As soon as I saw a taxi stop in front of me, I wasted no time boarding it. I didn't pay attention when Eliot's car passed us as the taxi rolled out. Although it appeared that he would visit me in the hospital, it is now too late for him to do so. He betrayed me and chose that other woman over me, which I can't tolerate. The lies he says are not something I want to hear. He can never come back to me again after leaving the Church, as I pledged before in the Church itself. Even in the face of god and his parents, in addition to a large crowd, he managed to yell at me even if the family I envisioned was not entirely full. I am able to be both the father and the mother of the child I am carrying. The taxi came to a stop outside the airport. I thus paid before relocating and approached Dexter, who appeared to be waiting for me. "What transpired to cause your unexpected return to Greece? Are you willing to return home and endure your father's wrath?" Dexter said as we made our way to the private airplane that I had requested him to have to wait for me. "Keep in mind that you cannot avoid the duty you previously dodged when you return to Greece." He added. "I just escaped before since I really didn't want to tell dad about the cycle of my World, but I'm always prepared for anything, Dexter. You know, when I was in my father's place, he always set the rules, so I couldn't do what I wanted," I remarked icily. "I am aware of that, but I am certain that when he learns that you are married and expecting a child, he will be upset." "I didn't get married since I didn't sign a marriage contract, and in regards to my pregnancy, he is powerless because, by the time my father learns that I am pregnant and does something I don't like, I have no choice but to kill him. I became his child because he is a demon, and now I bear his blood." I told him. I stepped inside the private plane once we boarded it, sat down, and then I closed my eyes while lying back in the chair. I felt Dexter sitting across from me. "Rest for a while; I'll just wake you up when we get to Greece; I know you're exhausted; don't stress any longer," I heard Rex say, but I didn't open my eyes. Instead, I took a big breath, answered all the questions in my head, and then dragged for the darkness. FAST FORWARD I was abruptly tapped, and only Dexter was there when I opened my eyes. "Where already here? Prepare for meeting your evil father." He remarked with a smirk. I stood up and went to the open door of the aircraft. As I exited, I noticed a car lurking below, and it appeared to be the one that would take me to the palace. The royal guards hailed me as I walked towards them. "Welcome Back, Royal Princess Iris," They both said at the same time as I entered the car, which was open. I then gave the driver the go-ahead by signaling for the car to begin moving, and I was aware that the two cars that followed were packed with bodyguards. Dexter, on the other hand, left because he was unable to accompany me to the palace. I noticed the servants at the palace waiting at the door when we got there, appearing to be getting ready for my return. When I descended, I made my way to the enormous palace entryway. The royal guard yelled as I entered, "Princess Iris, the royal princess of Greece, has returned." They all said hello to me, but since this was as it ought to be, they didn't hear a single hello back from me. I'm not allowed to be kind since some people are Greece's enemies. I simply feel cold as I move around the enormous palace. Unexpectedly, a servant came over to me. "Royal Princess, King Henry is waiting for you at his office." She informed me. I simply nodded and began to follow her up the very steep stairs covered in crimson carpet till I was directly in front of my father's office door.

Chapter 3

IRIS LOU P.O.V. Without knocking, I opened the door right away, and as I had anticipated, another dagger flew in my direction. I easily caught it and gave it back to him, but he managed to catch it. He said in Greek, "It's great that you thought about coming back," and he sat down. He then looked at me coldly, and I did the same before I walked over to him and sat down in front of his table. "Since you've already come back, do you accept the responsibility here that you abandoned before?" He declared. Yes, I am, I retorted icily when I saw him smile. I will be the one to represent his constituency because this is what he has long desired. My brother, who abruptly fled and is now missing, must be in this situation. When my brother decides he doesn't want to, no one can make him change the way his world works. More demonic than I am is he. Since my brother is a psychopath, I am unaware of every mental pattern he exhibits. "Okay, be ready tomorrow because you're marrying Cleopard Devinson, and they'll be here tomorrow, and you can't just decline." He abruptly stated, causing me to turn to face him, "I can't..." I responded, shaking my voice because I knew that if he found out I was pregnant, he would become furious, and his evil side would once more show itself. "And why shouldn't you? Did you do stupid things again, just like you used to run away from your obligations before?" He made a strong point to me, I spoke weakly and hunched over, but I knew he heard me say, "I'm pregnant." "WHAT!!! Lou, say it once more!" He shouted loudly, echoing his voice. He got up and slapped his two palms on his desk as his voice reverberated throughout his office. I also leaped from where I was sitting. I met his two eyes, which revealed disbelief and an indescribable expression as I turned to face him. I told him directly, "I'm pregnant," and he reluctantly returned and sat in her swivel chair. I simply crossed my two feet while glancing at them. I can't look at him. We both paused, and I could tell he was still thinking about the revelation I had just made. "I can't accept that the princess that I chose to ensure and my as it were treasure is presently getting to be a mother." He gently said, I looked at him, but he turned his swivel chair and looked at our family picture hanging on the wall, now I couldn't see him, and he just turned his back on me. "D-dad ..." I said softly, but I didn't get an answer from him. "I utilized to be fiendish in front of you since that's the thing I can do to secure you and let you despise me since I need you to be courageous and see you ended up courageous, but you know what harms? You've gotten to be fiendish than me." He said to me as he turned his swivel chair away from me. "You don't know how stressed I am once you run absent from here. Even your brother vanished a bit like a bubble at that point. I ended up alone battling for those individuals who need to require me down in my position of authority." My tears flowed when I heard that right in his mouth. I just listened to what he was saying. "I deliver you an opportunity and your brother; subsequently, you'll at least appreciate every single time in this world. On the off chance that you think I'm controlling your life and your brother, at that point, you are off-base. I'm fair giving my best to secure the two of you. I do not need to change your life fair how your mother got slaughtered by my adversary." "I held up here for a year, and at final, you come back. And presently, I'm fair holding up for your brother's comeback, and we are able at last be completed." He lastly said before facing me, and I saw the redness of his eyes was a sign that he cried so even more the tears in my two eyes were even more painful; it turned out to be more than I felt at the wedding of the person I loved for five years and just cheated on me. "D-dad, I'm S-sor-ry for being persistent and didn't indeed feel that your hurting as well. I'm too bad in case I cleared out you alone here battling for our foe" I burst into tears while my lips trembling as I say that. "You don't have to be sorry my princess, it's my fault that I let you despise me for your whole existence, it's my fault. It's all my fault. I just haven't been strict with you and your brother. I hope this doesn't happen." He gently told me. "I need to know who's the father of that child that you were carrying in your womb hence I can cancel the organized marriage that Mr. Devinson and I planned with his son leopard." He said. I cried even more because I wished I could personally introduce Eliot to my father, but it was impossible. I was sobbing loudly in tears. That's why he approached me worriedly and touched my back. "Stop crying, princess. It's not good with you if you're always stressed," He said and hugged me. I hugged him, too, and rubbed my face on his stomach because he was standing while I was sitting. "Tell me everything, princess. I'm listening," He said and made me stand up and mimicked his black sofa here in his office. When we sat down, he himself wiped the tears from my cheeks. "D-dad he c-cheated on me," I said weakly and kept from choking because of what I was thinking now. "Tell me what his name is, and I'll hunt him," He insisted to me. "Father, it's already done, he chose another lady who's carrying his child, and around the child that I'm carrying in my womb, he has no idea about this, and he additionally has no idea that I came from the EPHRAIM family I used a fake moment title so you can't track where I've been for the previous five years" When I explained he took a deep breath. "Then I won't send you to the Philippines again, and I will not force you to marry Cleopard. But you know him. He is ready to accept you because since he was a child, he has wanted you, Cleopard is a nice man and I know he won't hurt you. The decision is still early and it's still up to you, they will come here tomorrow" He said. "I'll think about it, dad," I said just because my brain was a mess. "Then go to your room and rest," He said. I nodded to him and kissed him on the cheek before leaving his office so that I could now properly breathe. While walking down the longest hallway, I observed the artworks that were hanging there. I was too busy admiring the hanging artwork to notice that I had already arrived at my room. I open my room's door. When I entered, nothing had changed. It was still really tidy. I hurried to my bed and gave my pillow a quick embrace. I miss being here. It appears like I shall begin a new life here and forget everything that happened to me in the Philippines.

Chapter 4

IRIS LOU P.O.V. As I wait for the Devison family to arrive, the time has passed, and I am now in the palace's grandest Hall. The Devinson family arrived from Italy, where they reside, and are well-respected for having ties to our family, the Ephraim family, which is also one of their neighbors. Since I'm not used to wearing a white dress and a small crown on my head, I'm just sitting here. However, I am helpless because I was born blue blood, which comes from the largest Family in Greece, so I have no choice but to accept my fate. And throughout our relationship, neither the Hamilton family nor Eliot was aware that I was from Greece. In fact, when we first met, I pretended to be poor and to have grown up in the province. "The Devinson family has arrived." One of the slaves announced they did not speak Tagalog. Because they were raised in Greece, In order to welcome them, Dad and I both got up and moved toward the palace door at the same time. As we waited for them to assess our location, we stood by the door. “(Benvenuto) Welcome.” They could understand us, so Dad and I said hello to them in Italian. Like his aunt, Carmine Beniamino Devison, Uncle Federico Nicholas Davison does not speak Filipino, but unlike the Cleopard, who is fluent in both English and Filipino, he is also proficient in other languages, including Greek. Dad was greeted by uncle Federico, who shook his hand and said, "Long time no see, my friend." The length of their friendship indicates how close they are. Cleopard was staring at me, but I chose to ignore him and focus on Aunt Carmine's conversation instead. She instantly approached me and grabbed me, saying, "Hija, it's been a year since you vanished, and finally, your here." I let go of her grip and grinned at her, thinking, "It's not really new to the aunt. She's still as happy as before." "Let's sit on the sofa, aunt, before we talk." We walked to the big sofa and sat down. Dad then joined us, so we were all seated there. She nodded because she could understand English, which made it easier for me to speak Italian. "So, how have things been going for you while you've been in the Philippines?" Auntie asked me with a smile; Dad, uncle Federico, and Cleopard all turned to look at us. "What do you mean, carmine? You have known for years that my daughter is in the Philippines, but you haven't bothered to let me know." My dad asked in disbelief to aunt carmine. I restrained myself from smiling and said, Yes, Aunt Carmine is aware that I have been living in the Philippines for the past few years. In response to dad's question, Aunt Carmine stated, "You didn't even ask me, which is why I didn't tell you because I felt you already knew." "Federico, are you aware of this as well?" Dad asked Uncle Federico, and I noticed that Cleopard was silently gazing at me earlier, and I caught that. "Don't accuse me; I just found out right now that my wife knows iris has been in the Philippines for a long time." Uncle Federico said in response to my father's query. I remained silent as Dad continued, "Fine, let's forget about that and speak about how they're setting up marriages." Dad continued, and after I exhaled, I looked at Cleopard and noticed that he was also looking at me. I then turned my head away and looked at dad and uncle Federico. "Can I speak with Cleopard before making a decision?" I signaled for the Cleopard to join me as I rose up after they nodded in response to my question. I sensed his presence as I made my way to the Garden's back entrance, so I knew he had followed me. When we arrived in the Garden, I was seated in Bermuda itself, where the Sun was unable to view me due to a large tree that had turned us in half. He remained by my side. I told him to sit down. He then took a seat next to me. "Say something," I told him as I watched the Roses around. "How are you? It's been a year since I last saw you," He asked, and I knew he was smiling even though I was not looking at him. "I'm okay," I replied to him. "Why did you suddenly come back, Iris? Did something happen?" he asked, and I stopped there. "Would you still going to marry me after you find out I'm carrying a child," I answered him while continuing to observe the flowers around us, He kept quiet for a while, so I just laughed. "I know you don't want to accept what others have touched," I said, almost crying from my naivety, "Who says that I won't accept you?" He abruptly asked. I turned to face him, and I noticed that he was smiling and looking at me. “P-pards-s .....” I addressed him by the name I had been using since that time. Because of what he said, tears started to fall down my cheeks. "Stop crying, my hope. I've never rejected you. I hope you've always known I've always been at your side. You've never heard me make you feel awful. I really loved you, and I didn't push you to love me back." He said and brushed away my tears using his thumb. "I- I'm S-sorry ..." I said softly and bowed before sniffing, but he suddenly grabbed my chin and lifted it so I could see him. "You don't have to be sorry. No one is at fault, nor is it your fault to teach the heart to Love the person you don't want. I don't want to force you to do anything, so I'm giving you a chance to leave the marriage while there is still time." He said. I gave what he said some thought. He was hurt, and I knew it. He didn't just smile at me, so I assumed we could just carry on with the wedding. I'd like to devote my time to him. "I'm not backing down from the wedding." I was direct and stated, and he was shocked when he heard what I had just said, which is why he gave me an immediate embrace. "Are you really not joking ?!" he said in shock and let go. Let me go in his hug before touching My two shoulders. "Yes, I'm not joking, and don't touch me, okay? "I said. So he let me go before he stood up. So I was surprised. "YES, FINALLY, THE GIRL THAT I LOVE IS NOW BECOMING MY WIFE !!!!" He shouted with all his might in the Garden, so I pulled him back to where he was sitting before. "Stop being embarrassed, and maybe someone heard," I told him, blushing. "No one can hear us. It's just the two of us here in the Garden," He said and came up to me and touched my tummy, and caressed it. "Hi baby, I'm your daddy Pardss," He said happily, and I looked at him and remembered Eliot, The person I loved so much but who had just cheated on me. FLASHBACK "Honey, how many children do you want us to have," I asked him while we were lying on his bed, and my head was on his chest. "I want a dozen children so I can hear a lot of noise when I'm done building our own house," He said and stroked my hair, so I just laughed and beat him with his chest. "Honey, I'm not a pig," I told him. "I'm just kidding honey, it's still up to you, and it's okay with me As long as we can just have a family," He said to me. So I looked up at him. "Really?" I said to him while looking up at him. "Yes." He said before he kissed my Forehead. END OF FLASHBACK I came back to reality because of a hand waving in front of me, and I saw it was just a cleopard. "Hey, earth to Iris!?" he said to me, but I just shook my head and smiled at him.

Chapter 5

IRIS LOU P.O.V. 4 YEARS LATER "ELIAS DUKE EPHRAIM !! STOP RUNNING, WOULD YOU !!" I shouted at my naughty four years old son. "But mother, you're going to squeeze me in case you capture me, which is why I'm not aiming to stop running." He continued to let me chase him here in the palace, and I stopped since I was also exhausted. "Okay! Run until you're exhausted because I'm sick of following you; you're so mischievous; I don't know where you got your insidiousness," I yelled in irritation. When he realized I couldn't pursue him, he stopped moving. He had his snout on the ground a few kilometers from me. "Mom, let's go to Daddy Pard's house," He said, and as he slowly drew nearer to me, I lifted him up. "You truly tortured me, you naughty child, the hardness of your head is so annoying. Look at how sweaty you are," I murmured, wiping his sweat off my palm, and then I walked back to the palace's living room. "Stop. We're not going to your Daddy Pards; it's too far from Italy to Greece." I told him, but he just pouted instead. This is how he really is when his wishes are not granted; he constantly begs to make his face live like a pitiful child, but he can't fool me. "I'll report you to grandpa," He said. "Ayyss, fine! later tell your Grandpa if he allows you." I said to him, and I let him sit on the sofa. Suddenly a maid came with a telephone. "(prinkípissa kápoios eínai sti grammí) Princess, someone is on the line," she said. I picked up the phone. "Hello, whos this?" I asked on the other line while watching my son playing with his toy truck that had been placed earlier on the sofa table. "It's Dexter," He replied. "What do you need," I asked. "It's time for you to come back to the Philippines. You would like to be here to handle your Commerce here. I know that you'll still not be prepared, but I can't do anything. Somebody is attempting to take down your company, and I know you are the one who can handle this." He said on the other line, I'm thinking. I think it's time to come back. I only said, "Okay," before cutting the line and handing the maid, who was standing on the side of the phone, back. This appears to be the right moment. I am aware that it is hard for us to reconnect because the Philippines is so large. I am aware that he may have a family because of how he expressed compassion for that woman years ago. Elias reminded me of a younger version of his father due to the way he adopted his father's appearance in everything. I can't keep him a secret from Eliot because they both resemble each other. He was the one who pulled out of the marriage between the two of us and the cleopards; he didn't want to rush things but was willing to wait. Sometimes I wonder why Cleopard just is the man I loved and the father of my son and not Eliot. I haven't heard from Eliot since I left the Philippines because a year has gone. Elias Duke was all I could think about, and I assisted Dad. We also decided that despite all the issues in the palace, I would not usurp his reign out of disinterest. He concurred, but my son will take his position. Dad promised to hand over the reign to Elias Duke when he turned eighteen. Elias is his grandchild. Thus I am powerless to take any action. "Mom, let's go to grandpa," He said to me, and then he left his toy on the ground before approaching me and hugging me. I reciprocated by hugging him. "Fine! We are visiting him. Come on, don't get dressed; your Grandpa will still kiss you even if you're perspiring" because of what I said, he simply rolled his eyes at me, acting like a queer. I'm amazed by this child, a four years old, but the brain is like an adult. Yeah, he also intervenes in others' conversations. I just shook my head and walked to the main door. I knew he was following me when we came out of the palace. There were still many guards. We went to a black car and took a drive. So there was no problem. “(tópos vasiliás Erríkos) king Henry place.” I said sparingly, and I know he heard that. He is already operating the car at dad's company. Yes, dad has company here, So his work is double as well as the palace. When we arrived in front of dad's company here in Greece, I didn't bother to stop Elias because he immediately opened the car door and ran inside the company. He was a very small child but very fast. When running, my head hurts because of his stubbornness. I won't be surprised if he stumbles. I also went down and walked in. I saw my son being greeted. The cubicles of the employees here were there. So they were also happy with the child's enthusiasm. When they noticed me, they also greeted me. "(Kaliméra prinkípissa) good day, princess." at the same time they said at the same time as they stood up and bowed to me as a sign that they were giving respect. I didn't greet them back and just approached my son before I held his hand, and we walked to the elevator and entered there. I pressed The 59th floor because dad's office is very big in this company, and I know my older brother will be its archer. Until now, that one still doesn't appear, but I know that when the time comes, that one will also appear. "Mom, who's my real father" I suddenly looked at my son when he suddenly asked that question. He also looked up to me. I don't know what I will answer him because of his question. It's true that he's four years old, but he knows how to observe what's around him. The elevator suddenly opened, which made me take a deep breath. "Let's go to your Grandpa," I told him to get away. The question we got out of the elevator and walked closer to the door of dad's office. When dad's secretary saw us, he immediately stood up and bowed at the same time as he greeted us. I just nodded and opened the door of dad's office. I wondered if I could escape my son's question because I knew he'd ask that again any time. Elias let go of me and ran towards Dad, who was sitting in his swivel chair. "Grandpa!" He ran and shouted loudly at dad and gave him a hug. His Grandfather was fine, and that was a truss. I Just shake my head and sit on the sofa.

Chapter 6

IRIS LOU POV "My grandchild! You're really wicked. Be cautious, you might tumble down, you're constantly running." Dad said to Elias that was being hugged by Dad. "Grandpa mother won't let me go to Italy and see daddy Pards," he complained to dad. I just shook my head at his accusation; he was always like that. "Don't worry grandson, I'll ready the private plane for you to see your papa Pards in Italy." Dad told Elias, who was sitting on his lap and had his hair messed up, "The reason that one's head keeps growing is because you always give him anything he asks for. What if he is already an adult, dad? I have no idea from where he got that." I boredly said. "Why would I be rich if I don't spend the money I earn? You're really always like that Lou." He said, turning to look at Elias who was playing the part of a cute monkey in front of him. "Grandpa, do you suppose my stench don't bother you?" He murmured, Elias said could understand because he wasn't yet accustomed to Tagalog. Naturally not, grandson! even when you take a bath with perspiration, you still smell like you. Only you stand out among everyone as the most fragrant." Dad murmured sniffing and laughing at him, Elias was still laughing. "I'll accompany him there and to Italy. He is utterly insistent on seeing cleopard and you give in. I am powerless right now. Dexter said that someone is attempting to bring my firm down in the Philippines, and I will go back there because I can't let the business I worked so hard to build fail. "I murmured here, and he turned to face me, while Elias slumped on his father's chest, appearing exhausted and possibly already asleep. "Are you sure you're going back there?" I only nodded at him after he said. "Then I can't stop you anymore because I know even you anything faith will still be the rule and let the two of you meet again." He remarked in a significant way so that Elias wouldn't hear because he is a smart child, "I'm ready dad, If we meet, destiny will take care of it." I answered. I got to my feet before moving toward the door, but I looked at my father first. "Dad, I'm just going somewhere for a little bit and I'll be right back, so please look at Elias first." I said to dad and he just nodded. I left the building directly and then went to the elevator, where I hit the number one to get to the first floor. A few minutes the passerby opened the door and I came out everyone I passed bowed to me but there was no emotion in my eyes as much as possible I do not want to show a little smile to them. I know dad's enemy is just around. I immediately left the company and went to the car that Elias and I had hit earlier. When the driver saw me, he immediately opened the door. So I entered and crossed my two legs. When the driver entered the driver's seat, I immediately spoke. “Take me to Cape sounion.” I told him and closed my eyes. “Okay princess.” He answered and the car started working. Until now, Greek language is still the word I use because they do not know how to speak Tagalog and in English they are weak, that they can easily understand everything I have to speak in the language they grew up with. The entire journey to Cape Sounion, my favorite destination in Greece, has been peaceful. The cape sounion is known as the temple of Poseidon and features a blue sea, a pleasant atmosphere, and a pleasant breeze. I feel sleepy that's why i take a nap. FAST FORWARD "Princess, we've already arrived." I opened my eyes when the driver speak outside the car he opened the car door and i step outside. As soon as I stepped outside, I was greeted with both the temple and the stunningly blue sea, together with a very fresh wind. I turned to the driver and said, "Return to the firm; if I need to go back there later, I'll just call you. I had not stopped moving toward the white temple. and examined it. The only thing visible is the cement of the temple, which is the only thing left standing. I just made my way to the sea's edge by walking along the Rocks. I removed my heels in order to avoid tripping on the rocks. When I sit on a large rock that is slightly elevated, I can view the entire blue sea. I scaled a small rock before sitting on the wide rock that had been raised. I then set my sling bag and the heels I had been wearing earlier next to me. Before noticing the breeze, I closed my eyes. Blowing my hair. I raised my head and observed the weak sea urchin waves. The Greeks considered Poseidon to be the "ace of the sea".Given the significance to Athens of exchange by ocean and the importance of its naval force in its creation and survival amid the fifth century, Poseidon was of a specific significance and esteem to the Athenians, that's why they called this temple of Poseidon and ace of sea. I think of the man I used to love and adore my entire life while I gaze at the azure water. How is he doing, I often wonder? Does he currently have children? But the bitterness and rage that have left a scar on my heart still won't go away. What I'll do when we meet is a mystery to me. I am not quite aware of the truth. I can look into anything, but I simply don't want to know everything. That is why I decided to do nothing. I'm stumped as to why this is happening. It was even worse after we got married since he abandoned me in the church and even more strongly preferred that pregnant woman. Just in case, I can assume that he is unknown to me and that he is simply a stranger to me based on the route we both took. Our previous vows to one another have all fallen through. Not only did he betray me, but it all burns to ashes.

Chapter 7

IRIS LOU POV FLASHBACK THE TIME I RUN AWAY IN THE PALACE. "PAK!" The sound of my father hitting me in his palace office. "Lou, how much longer will you make me feel ill?!!" Da yelled at me cause i just embarrassed the daughter of his investor who arrived from the States. "Dad, she was the first to make a mess! I hope nothing untoward happened at the party if she didn't merely pour me booze on purpose." I declare it without fear, "Lou! Damn it! Alcohol can't kill you; why didn't you just let it go? Look what you did: Mr. Gregory retreat investing in our company; you know how well-known Mr. Gregory is in the United States." He reprimanded me sharply. "Dad, you are the king of the country where you are now, so a lot of money comes to you, and then you hurt me? your own child? just because of your worthless investor!" I told him in a furious tone, I resisted crying in his face because I didn't want to suggest that I could only be vulnerable around him. I'm not that strong, but I'm strong in combat because my brother and I have been practicing our fighting skills since we were young. As a result of the challenging training I underwent as a child, I broke several bones. My older brother, who seemed pretty reasonable to me at the time, changed into a psychopath without anyone around him noticing. He simply killed my old brother old self, and dad was no longer concerned about my brother changing. He stared at me sharply and said, "You're just a kid, don't answer me. " He is no longer our father; back when our mother was still living, he used to call me his darling princess. "You are not the father I knew in the past. When I was a kid, you weren't the father I knew. I used to be your princess, dad, so how dare you speak to me in such a loud voice!" I mumbled to him, I fall down on floor and my leg is getting weaker. I couldn't lift my hand, "So you merely have to throw me away now. Dad, what's going on? What did you show my older brother and I if this is all a lie when Mom was still alive?" I stared up at this question with my eyes getting darker because I couldn't stop crying. "DAD, WHY CAN'T YOU RESPOND? !! DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS, HUH!" I growled at him. I shook my head in frustration as I bowed down. "Don't attach the long-dead Lou! A 5 MONTH GROUND IS IN EFFECT! get out of my sight right away! Never leave your room, either. For five months, if you refuse then you can stay in the Dungeon." He stated icily while avoiding looking at me. As he turned his back and prepared to approach his swivel chair, I look dismayed at him and say, "Are you truly like that and you can put me in the prison as your own child?" "If necessary I'll do it" He said to me while turning his back I can't see his expression because he turned his back on me but you can see the extreme coldness of his voice. “You're a monster" I said angrily to him. I made a point of telling him, "You'll regret this," before I walked out of his office and into my room. I dressed comfortably before packing so that I could later easily elude the royal guards and find whoever was wandering around the palace. I grabbed my cellphone and dialed a reliable employee's number, Dexter. "Ring ring" He responded after just two rings. "What do you need?" he asked straightly. "Prepare your private jet. We will leave this country secretly; make sure that it is the one you will use so that we cannot be found." I told him. He ended the phone by saying, "Fine, let's simply meet at the airport," so I next contacted Aunt Carmine, the mother of my childhood cleopard. "What made you dial Hija?" She stated on the other line, and I just sighed since she is the only person I can trust. "Auntie, I'm leaving Greece and I'm going to the Philippines tonight, and I don't want you to tell anyone where I am because you're the only one I can trust." I informed her in Italian. "Why are you leaving HIJA?" She questioned. "I'll be explaining it to you next time, Auntie, I'm losing too much time now and I really need to go." I hung up the phone after saying that, I know she won't let me down. Even though I was prepared, I went outside on my balcony first to see if any bodyguards were there since I would pass by later and climb the wall to leave the roadway behind. Time went by. As it got later in the evening, I dropped my cellphone on my room's floor to prevent them from finding me. I stepped over to the veranda after putting on my backpack. I looked around to see if there was a royal guard nearby, but when I couldn't see any, I leapt. I gently touched down on the surface. I carefully made my way to the back of the palace and, as soon as I arrived, climbed the tall wall with ease because there was a tree on the side. As soon as I reached the top, I leaped onto the road and instantly turned onto the correct side of the street. A taxi finally stopped in front of me after I had been waiting for 15 minutes. I continued, so. "Take me to the airport." I said as I entered inside the car. "Yes , ma'am." The driver responds. FAST FORWARD The large Athens International Airport in Greece was in front of the automobile when it stopped. Before leaving and entering the airport, I gave him my money. They recognized me, so the guard didn't try to stop me when he spotted me. I traveled to Dexter's location and asked him to direct me to the Philippines. Together, we made our way to his private aircraft. His two flight attendants welcomed me right away when we got there. We step up and took a seat in the aircraft. He handed me an envelope when he was seated in front of me. "I changed your last name temporarily Iris Lou Clifford and you can't use Ephraim." He explained. “There. It will be about you. You're poor, so when someone asks where you're from, say the province. You also need to find work to support yourself because you can't use a credit card because your dad might easily find you." He advised, and I just nodded. I took a snooze first because I knew the trip was still a ways off while the plane kept flying through the skies. END OF FLASHBACK

Chapter 8

IRIS LOU POV When my cellphone rang in my sling bag, which was right next to me, I abruptly returned to the present. After taking the phone and looking at it before opening it, I discovered that Dad was the only caller. So I gave it a whiff. "Dad, it looks like I won't get back till after dark." I looked at the sea and remarked, I simply want to see the sunset. "I'll take care of your son, but me and my grandson will go home first, so take your time." He said on the other end of the line, "Okay, dad" I hung up the phone after saying that and continued to sit there for a while, staring out at the sea as darkness fell. It was quite pleasant to witness the sunset as it began to happen while I was staring at the sea. I used to enjoy watching the sunset with Eliot. I used to always be by his side, therefore I'm not sure why he still exists in my memory. FLASHBACK We were sitting on the Centennial Sea Bridge today when I asked him, "Honey, do you think you'll be able to find me when I'm gone?" My head was resting on his shoulder. There are many people here as well because it's a great place to relax once the sun sets. "No," He said, and I turned to face him. "What?" I exclaimed in shock. He laughed as a result. "I won't look for you since I know you won't be lost." I just pouted when he responded. "What if I disappeared like a bubble, what do you think you would do?" I said it, looking it right in his eye, Just before he spoke, he caressed my head. "Hon, even if that occurs, I know you will still come back to me but If I'm mistaken in my suspicion. It is not my destiny to decide how we will meet again." He said and smile at me before giving me a kiss in the forehead, The moment he kissed my forehead, I simply smile. "I promise I won't hurt you, so you have no reason to leave me and just disappear suddenly, my dear Iris." I turned my head to rest on his shoulder to gaze back at the water. "Promise me Honey, you won't going to cheat on me." I told him while still admiring the stunning sea view, He did not immediately respond, but he did speak. "I vow I'm exclusively yours, I won't ever cheat on you, and only with you will I raise a family." He respond. I simply smiled. "I'll pray to God that you're the only one I can be with, the only one I'll marry, when I grow old." I told him. He is the sole man who first captured my heart, and I want him to remain with me forever since he taught me how to love and cherish the people in my life. At the same moment we watch the sun set together, and the sunset witness his vows to me. END OF FLASHBACK I didn't realize I was crying because of those things, and even though a few years have passed, he is still the only man I will ever love. I will be devastated if I see him happy with someone else while I'm still grieving. I wiped away my tears and got to my feet before descending to the Rock and putting on my heels. It appears that I won't first call the driver. I have to think as I walk. I shall pass by the street lights, the side food streets, and people walking along the roadside at this moment. I took my time to look around me, and now I just felt like I was by myself without the companion I had hoped would soon leave me as well. I drove right up to the cab to deliver me to Olympus Park, where it is also nice to go, passing the side merchants. I'll spend the rest of the day here in Greece because I know it will take me a while to return. I spotted a taxi and ride it. "Take me to Olympus Park," I told the driver and as the car was moving, I leaned my head on the side of the glass window to gaze at the big trees with their many lights and at the building we were passing through, which was full with street lines. The diver turned to stare at the road and said, "I can read your eyes; they are full of pain and longing for someone." Even though the driver could see my pain and longing in my eyes for the person I left in the Philippines, where I met him, I continued to stare out the window. "If the man you've loved for a long time and want to spend the rest of your life with cheated on you, what would you do?" I was still staring out the window when I abruptly questioned the driver. "Did he actually cheat on you? Have you even listened to his justification?" I was dumbfounded by his inquiry. Why didn't I pay attention to his justification? Why did I leave Unaware The Truth? The event left me perplexed. "How can I listen to his explanation if he left me on the day of our wedding in favor of another woman? And I swear that day, he'll have nothing to return to if he walks out of that church." I said, hearing him sigh in front of me, “You should at least listen to his explanation, and keep in mind that we have what is known as false suspicion.” He replied. He is correct in what we refer to as erroneous suspicion. although I'm aware of the reason why I find it difficult to comprehend why he had to pick that woman than in our wedding day. I remained silent while covering up the tears that were streaming from my eyes as I wiped away the agonizing worries that were returning to me. I didn't respond to what he said. "Did you leave that day without even listening to his justification and without even telling him you were going?" He inquires abruptly. "Yes, I vanished like a bubble that day because I couldn't accept the fact that he had someone else," I responded to him in Greek because I knew he wouldn't understand me if I spoke Filipino and not everyone in Greece speaks English, so it's better to speak their language, which they could understand easily. "I split with him four years ago and haven't heard anything about him until today." I continued. I suddenly gasped because of what the driver said, "Do you feel that leaving without knowing the truth soothes your mind's foam? No right? I hope you listened first before fleeing without a trace." he answered. I was just looking outside when I asked, "Has anyone cheated on you?," I said for him to change the topic about me. He was just driving quietly and seriously focusing on the road when I finally looked at him. “Yes, but the difference between us is that I didn't flee or simply vanish; I listened to her explanation before putting up with it, and I left voluntarily.”He said but I didn't say a word and just kept quiet to hear his own story. "I was overjoyed when she told me she was pregnant, but when she told me I wasn't the father, my world fell apart” he said When he said that, I became even more intrigued by his story. Because our path is really different when it comes to love. If he was betrayed and others got the person he loved pregnant, Then the man I loved pregnant another woman without me knowing. “We had been together for eight years, but that year was ruined when I discovered she was pregnant with my friend.” “I blamed fate for interfering with the course of my life.” “but do you know what I'm thankful for?” “I thanked her that she found the person to love and take care of her even if it wasn't me” “I listened to her and accepted it on the day she confessed and explained because I loved her so much that I could tolerate just for what she could do.” “Years passed when we separated, I found the one for me and the woman I no longer thought that she would be with me as I grow older and build a family” He was able to put up with, overlook, and accept what was set aside for him, which made me grin in that scenario. As I remain mired in the past without knowing the whole context of that particular incident.
